Els Poblets is a small Spanish coastal town not too far from Denia. It’s origins are Roman and there are remains of a Roman villa still viewable today. Els Poblets was originally 3 villages called Setlar, Miraflor and Mirarrosa who merged, separated and remerged again to be finally renamed Els Poblets by decree in 1991.
It is quite an affluent area and is surrounded by orange groves. It is also home to a number of urbanisations, mainly housing foreign residents. Els Poblets also has about 1km of coastline including the beach of Almadraba.
